Prior to the LCBO, he worked as professional chef in some of world’s top restaurants. He has also worked as a winemaker and vineyard manager in Greece and Bordeaux. He is a holder of the WSET Wine Level 3, French Wine Scholar, a Certified Sake Professional & Educator, WSET Sake Scholar, and a whisky expert.
